Beginners Yoga for Health & Wellbeing – Spring
Thu February 13, 2025 @ 18:15 - 19:15
A term time beginners yoga course for adults with Jo Bogacz.
Jo’s yoga classes are nurturing & restorative. She teaches in a compassionate, kind and insightful way, ensuring classes are accessible and empowering. She works holistically & therapeutically ensuring students can work at their own pace.
This course offers a space for you to seek wellbeing and balance through yoga practice. You will learn how to use yogic tools and techniques to develop methods to reconnect with yourself and be better resourced in daily life. Emphasis is on bringing greater awareness and renewed vitality to your mind & body.
Classes combine asana (physical postures), pranayama (yogic breathing) and meditation, with a strong emphasis on mindfulness & relaxation.
Jo is an experienced British Wheel of Yoga teacher (level 4 RQF) and is registered as a Yoga Therapist with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). She has been practising yoga and meditation for over 30 years and teaching full time for over a decade.
This term time course is suitable for total beginners, those with some experience or those looking to re-establish their practice after a break or following a period of poor health / change. It may appeal more to those who are keen to focus on the more therapeutic and healing application of yoga.
Yoga for Health & Wellbeing courses support building everyday resilience and the development of positive health. Courses aim to give you space and time to reconnect and centre, support you to better resource yourself, offer yoga tools and techniques to foster deeper understandings of yourself, and improve physical, mental & emotional well-being.
Please bring your yoga equipment along for practice – a mat, a block, cushion, blanket etc.
