Morning Yoga for Health & Wellbeing for Women
December 2 @ 10:30 - 12:00
Autumn Term: 16th September – 9th December 2024
Yoga for Health & Wellbeing courses have a therapeutic focus to support building everyday resilience and the development of positive health. Courses aim to give you space and time to reconnect and centre, support you to better resource yourself, offer yoga tools and techniques to foster deeper understandings of yourself, and improve physical, mental & emotional well-being.
Jo’s yoga classes are nurturing and restorative. She teaches in a compassionate and insightful way, ensuring classes are accessible and empowering. She works in a holistic way, so students can work at their own pace.
Classes are suitable for those keen to focus on the therapeutic and healing application of yoga. This includes: beginners, those with experience looking to re-establish their practice and more experienced yoga practitioners. Classes combine asana (physical postures), pranayama (yogic breathing) and meditation, with a strong emphasis on mindfulness & relaxation.
Jo is an experienced British Wheel of Yoga qualified teacher, registered as a Yoga Therapist with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). She has been practising yoga and meditation for over 30 years and teaching full time for a decade.
