Insole Court Community Choir Christmas Performance: 'The Wind in the Willows'

Where: The Main Hall, The Bishop of Llandaff High School
When: Thursday 22nd December, 7pm

Please be advised this event is taking place in the main hall of The Bishop of Llandaff High School, NOT Insole Court

The award-winning Insole Court Community Choir presents: ‘The Wind in the Willows’

A choral work with words and music by Tim Riley and inspired by Kenneth Grahame’s famous children’s book of the same name.

Join the award-winning Insole Court Community Choir as they perform a short choral work which introduces us to the world of the riverbank at the turn of the twentieth century. It is sure to leave children, young and old, wanting more and reaching for a copy of this iconic book.

The evening will start with a medley of songs from around the world performed by the Primo Children’s Choir followed by ‘The Wind in the Willows’. There will be a short break for mince pies and mulled wine and the evening will be concluded with some Carols and Christmas songs.

You will also meet four actors playing the parts of Toad, Badger, Ratty and Mole as they help bring alive some of the action from the book. Children (and adults) are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite character or if they’d rather, ‘festively dressed’. We will also have a face painter on hand for those that really want to get ‘into character’!
