In 2024 we hosted 25 wonderful weddings and civil partnerships, our busiest year to date.
We started the year in February and hosted our final wedding on December 21st, a lovely festive treat!
It’s been really interesting to notice trends changing year on year and weddings from September onwards have become far more popular. With darker evening weddings happening more and more, fairy lights became the highlight decoration in 2024!
Adjusting to the needs of our customers we’ve now added a ‘ceremony only’ option to our offer. While we only hosted 2 of these in 2024, 12 couples have booked this type of celebration in 2025 and we’re happy to be able to host the most important part of their day.
This year the weather worked in our favour and four of our couples decided to get married outdoors. Our formal gardens and incredible trees provided the perfect backdrop for special ceremonies in the sunshine.
Ceremonies and parties also proved more popular with fewer couples opting for formal dining as a part of their day. Our fantastic catering partners allowed us to maintain a high standard of catering delivered in a relaxed style to compliment this.
8 of our weddings were for family and closest friends only, with fewer than 30 guests. These celebrations really showcased our smaller ceremony rooms and the versatility of the Mansion.
3 Insole Court wedding babies were born in 2024 and we’ve also heard of a couple on the way. Hopefully they’ll follow in their parents’ footsteps one day and we’ll be able to host all of their special celebrations, too.
It’s been an absolute honour to play a part in so many wonderful days and we’re truly grateful to each and every one of our couples for trusting us to host the day of their dreams, while they have helped us by investing in the future of Insole Court.
