The Retreat Experience
Throughout the day, you will be guided through a series of carefully curated activities designed to promote relaxation,mindfulness, and self-awareness. The retreat will include the following:
Breathwork: Breathwork: The breath is the gateway to all somatic processes which support our aliveness. Attend to the breathing body with open awareness, and curiosity- meeting your patterns of holding and protection, and learn to release.
Meditation: Discover the transformative power of meditation as you learn to quiet your mind and cultivate inner peace. Through guided meditations, you will explore different techniques to calm your thoughts, reduce anxiety,and improve your overall sense of well-being.
Movement: Follow the body’s invitation for unstructured, spontaneous movement as an act of joyful self expression. Be guided by a spirit of play and ‘unlearning’ as we explore open ended ‘ ‘movement prompts’ which support us into bodily knowing, enjoyment, and freedom.
Mantra: Mantras are powerful words or phrases that can be repeated to promote relaxation, concentration, and spiritual growth. You will have the opportunity to explore the use of mantras to deepen your meditation practice and cultivate a sense of inner peace.
Sound Bath: Immerse yourself in a soothing soundscape created by crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other instruments. A sound bath can help to reduce stress, promote relaxation, and induce a state of deep relaxation.
